November is ‘Get Healthy’ month here at Complete Chiro and we invite you to get healthy with us.
We understand that for everyone ‘getting healthy’ might mean something completely different. For some it might mean getting into an exercise regime and losing weight, for others it may mean adjusting their lifestyle and diet and getting into some better habits.
When it comes to changing habits it starts with setting goals and then breaking it down into smaller goals and planning ahead as to how you will achieve those goals. This sets you up for success and when you get to celebrate those smaller wins you are much more likely to stay on track. Be realistic with your goal setting though or you will find yourself giving up before you have even started. Share your goals with your family, friends and co-workers so they may help you stay on track and keep you accountable.
To get you started on your path to a healthier you, we will only be offering fruit at the reception desk in November. No more Mentos! We’ll put to test the saying: ‘An apple a day keeps the doctor away!’
The Complete Chiropractic team have each selected their own healthy goal and we will be sharing these with you and giving you weekly updates via facebook as a way of keeping us accountable too!
Hooman: By the end of November Hooman would like to be able to run 10km in 50mins. To achieve his goal, he will be running daily to improve his fitness and endurance and increasing the distance every few days.
Kyle: He plans to lose 8km by the end of November by going to twice-weekly personal training sessions at Vision and going for a run twice a week. Being quite the social butterfly, Kyle will also be adopting a healthier diet to make up for the social events coming up.
Bronwyn: Bron would like to lose 5kg this month by following an alkaline detox eating plan and maintaining her fitness regime which consists of weekly personal training sessions and long distance runs once or twice a week.
Anke: A very busy mum of 2, Anke would like to lose 4kg by the end of the month by committing to twice weekly gym work-outs and trying the Arbonne Evolution Full Control and ThermoBooster weight management system as well as their Greens Balance to aid in nutrient intake.
Jodi: With a fully booked social calendar this month, Jodi would like to avoid alcohol on days she doesn’t have any events and would like to challenge herself to drink 1 litre of water a day. She is hoping this will aid in her weight-loss goal of 4kg.
Michelle: Mich will be away for November and her only goal is to relax and de-stress after finishing up exams.
